vitameatavegamin soup

Sooooo pretttyyyy outside! Of course the yellow haze is a bit overkill but hey, if you were curious what your car would look like if it was yellow (perhaps you have a transformers fetish)- now you know. On that note- I’ve been a bit of a busy bee myself these past few days. Continuing my attempt to drink all of the water in North Carolina and pee as often as possible, but it’s actually getting a bit better I think. I was a little concerned Thursday evening/Friday because my low back area where my kidney’s are started to get a little sore, but i’m hoping it’s just coincidence and it’s actually my back and I don’t have another kidney infection cause those are annoying- of course my back is also annoying but I’ve been dealing with that every day for the past 4 years. I wrapped up the work week as best I could, though it probably wasn’t all that stellar of a performance..oops.

Today I had planned on getting to work a little early to give Rowena a bath, but turns out the nurse I was scheduled to work with was sick so I ended up getting there just in time and had to nurse solo (which by the way I’ve only done one time when I first started there over 3 years ago). Good news though- I figured out how to work a lot of the machines and how to do a lot of blood work so hopefully I can be head nurse on purpose in the future! Afterwards I took Rowena (in all of her soft and shiny glory) for a walk in the sunshine and put down some landscape fabric in the backyard to kill weeds where I want to plant my veggies then headed out for a manicure! Manicures and pedicures are usually a biannual treat for me- so this was my summer one. Wearing gloves most of the day does some real work on my cuticles so that’s the main reason I bother, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it made me feel purtyful 🙂 Jamie and Mommy came also, then they stopped by my place on the way back- mostly as a detour to pelicans but also to see the tiny little dog creature staying here at the moment and my newly bloomed shrubs. They took a long time at pelicans so I made bread dough while I waited.

Tomorrow after work in the morning and the weekly house cleaning/grocery store trip I’m looking forward to boxing class with Sandy, then Kaitlyn is gonna stop by before work in the evening and bring Baloo to introduce him to the place.

Other news I’m excited about: planning a trip to the zoo, planning a trip to the beach and writing up tasks and responsibilities I’ve added on to my initial job description since my hire date to bring to the manager for a raise! eeeeek.

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
