Nippy noses

Fall is on full blast round here- and according to the weather channel pretty much everywhere else except Florida. Brrr! Since my last update things have gone swimmingly, but not literally because it’s cold and nobody has time to swim in the cold unless you’re Michael Phelps or a fish. Thursday and Friday were the first days of chillyness, but I faired surprisingly well. My feet have already turned white for the most part, and probably will stay that shade minus when I’m taking a shower (at which time they turn really dark purple then red) until it’s consistently over 50 degrees outside. My mom’s Christmas present came this week, so now I’m nearly done! Also on Thursday I found out that Duke Nursing was hosting a Stop Hunger Now event, and my friend Jackie was attending so I asked if I could go. I’ve been wanting to host one myself for a few months, but that’s apparently hard to arrange? So I was very happy to find that the first Saturday I had off in probably 2 months or so I was able to go and pack meals for people that really need them. I also met a few cool people and got to catch up with an old friend 🙂 That afternoon I went riding, and after I finished up with EZ I popped onto Diesel- aka I had a great time barning it up. I love ponies 🙂 I also love the atmosphere of barns in general, very relaxed and removed from annoying tweets and such. I came home, showered and then went on a dinner date at Lucky 32. Good date, awesome person- hopefully going somewhere but don’t jinx me. Obviously I have an absolutely terrible relationship gauge.
Today I worked had the normal morning with work, shopping and cleaning. Went to boxing- Mike taught this week since Duque is apparently in Maryland. I really enjoyed the switch though, it’s always helpful to get someone else’s input on workouts and also a great way to surprise your muscles into working differently than normal. Probably gonna be really sore but that’s okay, I like being sore because of working out as long as it isn’t out of control. I was going to try to go meet Patrick at comicon this afternoon but the timing didn’t really work, and I was too slow to get a movie date arranged but I’m sure we’ll be able to meet up sometime this week.

In conclusion, things are going well. I’m still freaking out about this business agenda- however that will not change until I launch and everything starts working out..probably like a year from now ;). Thanksgiving is two weeks away, Christmas not too far behind and I’m super excited to get together with family! ❤

all for now! tootles

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
