Top of the mornin to ya’s.

I’ve had a pretty decent few days since I last posted! Wednesday was a not so excellent deep freeze and it was about 10 degrees when I woke up to walk Rowena in the morning…so while I was trying to bury my face in my hood and keep my hands in my pockets she was having a blast trying to do the zoomie run all over the place. Sometimes I wish I was like the dogs or horses that get the cold weather zoomies instead of myself that gets purple hands and feet when it’s below 50. So anyway I went and played pool Wednesday night..and wasn’t as bad as I was anticipating soooo hooray! I had a good time 🙂 Thursday work was meh, people seem to be having a hard time managing their own projects and ask for things at random times during the day since they apparently forgot that I have my own job. However I had Friday off so I got to go to boxing one last time during the week, had a sushi lunch for the first time since college (with no unfortunate after effects!) and celebrated Jamie’s birthday with the family. Basically a good day right? Yes. Yesterday I didn’t work either and found myself very confused…I went for a walk earlyish, then cleaned up a little bit before going to the barn. As I mentioned the horses had the cold weather goofs so I didn’t really get to ride- I didn’t want to risk falling off and screwing up my back. It was nice to just go out there and see the ponies though. After that I worked out in the yard for a little while, then scrubbed the baseboard moldings in my kitchen until it started to get dark..I took Rowena out one more time just to get her some more exercise before I showered and put pj’s on. Saturday night consisted of some netflix and cozy snuggles in bed to stay warm.

Now I’m just getting ready to go to run my Sunday errands, do yard/house work, go to boxing and hopefully I’ll be able to make it back out to the barn again! Weeee

I’m kind of bummed I have a full week ahead of me though 😦 We can do it!

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
