we all live in a yellow ball of sneeze

a yellow ball of sneeze (EVERYBODY!) a yellow ball of sneeze…

okay, stop singing sheesh.

Did you guys know that there’s an incredible cast in The West Wing? SO many cameos I can’t even count and let’s be honest I’m like a champion counter. Besides that awesome news, I’ve had one of those weeks that when people say “how was your week” you have to stop and think because you honestly can’t remember what the heck you did..but in a goodish way. For me, it was just the fact that I was busy and working for approximately 7 hours and 56 minutes of my 8hr work day for pretty much the whole time. Unfortunately, this is super exhausting since that means I was physically active for the majority of that time since I don’t do the desk job thing. I much prefer this than not being busy though, since nothing went too off schedule- it made me feel super on top of things and professional..and also tired. On the fortunate side I didn’t have to cook anything most of the week because I had Easter leftovers (nom); Therefore I was able to clean and keep the plants happy more so than usual! There was an awesome thunderstorm on Thursday which was really exciting because it was the first time I could smell the warm-weather rain smell before it happened…if you don’t know what that smells like 1) have you ever been outside and 2) I can’t describe it so you lose. This storm was kick ass and I’m talking lightning, rumbles, cracks and general downpours. Internet and the like was out so I read while Rowena decided she would like to practice her torso morphing skills…which she is getting pretty good at. Olympics? Perhaps.

Today I was on the nurse shift, and Dr.Cannon was the vet so obviously it was a good day. Rowena and I went for a long walk in the afternoon in the glorious sunshine and then sat in the back yard for a little bit to soak up more rays while I read more…I also lovingly placed my new green-apple colored KitchenAid mixer on the counter and admire it often. I am so excited to have it! So much mixing potential now.

Maybe I’ll write again tomorrow!? Don’t hold your breath. –unless you have the hiccups or really bad allergies? I don’t know do what you want.

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
