Merry Christmas!

Yes that’s right folks, we are exactly midway to holiday cheer..crazy right?

I’ve wanted to post so many times over the past week but avoided it because there’s something I am DYING to talk about but in case the wrong person sets eyes onto this blog I don’t want to get myself in a pickle. So you’ll have to wait a few more days for that news.

What I can tell you is that even with my measly little prep I’ve done so far for marathon training I am officially always hungry. What’s that about? I gained like 2 pounds, but my body acts like I need the caloric intake of an orca. Not cool body, I don’t want to buy that many groceries. In the spirit of learning to eat off of hunger cues and accept some junk food, I have however bought and stored cookies in my house for the first time since I was a sophomore in college! Yay, me! Even better than that, they’re almost gone.

Today I had planned on running around the lake, but ended up just walking it twice- that counts right? If I can walk a marathon that’s somewhat of a feat I suppose. So after our nature walk I went to my parents house to use their scanner and upload a bunch of id documents etc for the aforementioned topic. Then Shannon came and the Obremski girls went out to the kid exchange at the fairgrounds to get baby Leo more toys! That took pretty much the whole day- we got back around 2, ate a late lunch and talked a bit…then I went with a walk with my mom and the doggies before heading home to shower and have dinner. I’m now watching an old Sandra Bullock movie (The Net) that is actually pretty good- I worked some on my blanket (almost done!) and plan on being a couch potato for the rest of the night. Tomorrow brings house cleaning and boxing before Monday rears its silly little head!

Hopefully I’ll update early in the week to talk about things in more detail šŸ™‚ Though I’m not sure who really reads this so there’s a chance you don’t even really have that much of an interest. If so then…don’t read that post?

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, ā€‹I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
