blue moon-you saw me standing alone

Celebrate kids- this month has two blue moons, which apparently won’t happen again until 2018. The good news is every month still has one blue moon sooo…yeah.

I’m starting to get a little sad over leaving Duke, but also kind of excited about starting rehab. Interestingly, if this is the first thing you ever read on this blog then you’d think I just quit my job to go to rehab for some type of addiction. I”m not clearing that up for you because you can read about it duh! I’ve been trying to figure out the best and most seamless way to exit on a positive note, and have decided that I need to clear out everything, take inventory of all that is in existence and prep all that can be prepped for the next 20 years. I can do that in a week, right? I CAN DO IT.

On an unrelated note- after work tomorrow I’m going to do one of those cipher escape rooms and I’m pretty stoked about it. 12 people shut into a room and forced to solve geeky puzzles and whatnots to see how fast/if they can escape! Daddy-o birthday dinner perhaps happening after that, but I’m not sure….

I don’t really have much else to say at the moment; I did get a single serve blender today to make smoothies in so, that’s the exciting news in my life.

ps if you’re reading this through facebook it is actually a separate site just to clear that up, and if you want to write something not public on that forum there’s a comment section on here too.

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
