August is Gloop

Willy Wonka amiright?

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been on a rollercoaster of good times and “woe is me” thoughts. I’m still not done with my case studies, but have the second video lined up to shoot this week and hopefully will do the third next week sometime and be done! Then to wait over a month to get our grades (eek). However; yesterday during Rowena’s class our instructor said that once I get officially certified I can do some classes and/or clinics there so that’s exciting!

I ended up going to the beach and had a decent time, but really only had time to go riding, for a walk on the beach and have a quick dinner before we had to head home. Boxing was conveniently cancelled that day so I didn’t feel as bad for missing :). My neck got completely messed up somehow though and until the end of this week I couldn’t turn any direction, cough/sneeze or swallow much. I went to see Dr. Jason twice and had graston done on my neck muscles/tendons which was faaabulous but it still hurts, so I’m not sure what to do at this point.

In other news, the new Harry Potter screenplay came out last week! I read it and overall it was a good story, and probably a great play. However, the claim that it’s “the 8th Harry Potter story” isn’t true at all. I started to reread The Deathly Hallows again and now I’m even more angry that there are loose ends that weren’t even addressed. Where are the Dursleys? What about Hermione’s parents? Aberforth? C’mon you guys! Answer me!

Anyway- back to the daily grind now. Summer is almost over and my hands and feet are getting cold just thinking about it 😦

About Erin Goes Blah- I rant forever

Ever heard of Erin Go Brah? The horse obviously, not the saying! I'm him, in human form but slightly less successful and well known. Perhaps you've also heard of a man named William Shakespeare? In "A mid-summer nights dream" he says, "though she be but little, she is fierce" in reference to Hermia...I have a little bit of that in my mix too. I'm a 26-year-old big kid with occasional adult tendencies just trying to figure out my place in life. Chronically single and exhausted I am the keeper of two jobs and three pets. With approximately 2 hours of free time per day, I tend to use it relaxing- leading to much musings and wonderment. I plan on using this blog to reach out to others, and to my inner conscience to better understand my odd habits and talk myself out of them. I hope to bring attention to those in eating disorder recovery, by being open about my hardships and hurdles. I'm weird, silly and looking for someone to share the love with :)
